Men Move Too

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about men’s mental health.
I’ve found myself becoming increasingly curious about the spaces available for men to explore emotion, expression, connection, and movement.
In conversations I’ve had with men, I keep coming back to expression. What does it mean to express emotion as a man? What feels safe to share? What doesn’t? And how much permission do men actually feel they have to explore parts of themselves that may not always have an obvious place to go?
Perhaps there is something meaningful about having a space exclusively for men.
A space where expression is expected rather than unusual. Where vulnerability can exist alongside strength. Where movement can become another language. Where there is community in discovering, maybe I’m not the only one who feels this way.
Because men move too.
Men feel. Men create. Men express. Men carry experiences in their bodies. Perhaps movement can offer another way to explore all of that without requiring everything to begin with words.
I don’t want to assume I know what that space should look like.
I want to ask.
Gentlemen, what do you need?
What would make a space centered around movement, expression, and connection feel valuable or even interesting to you?
What would make you feel comfortable enough to show up?
And what do you wish people understood better about what men need emotionally?
I’m listening.
