About Me

Aletia Giselle Egipciaco

Aletia Giselle is a registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT) serving the Monterey Bay area with a deep belief in the healing power of embodied expression. Blending her backgrounds in clinical mental health counseling and dance, she creates spaces where movement becomes a path to insight, emotional release, and transformation.

Her clinical work spans nonprofit organizations and community-based settings, where she has supported individuals navigating substance use recovery, neurodiversity, and complex emotional landscapes. With over 25 years of experience as a partner dance instructor, Aletia brings a unique sensitivity to rhythm, connection, and somatic attunement into her therapeutic work.

Aletia holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from California State University Monterey Bay—equipping her to merge therapeutic depth with visionary leadership. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from San Francisco State University, where her passion for movement as a language of healing first took root.

Whether guiding one-on-one sessions, facilitating group experiences, or curating retreats, Aletia’s work invites clients to return to the wisdom of the body—one intentional movement at a time.
